The standard boot is made with a curved Louis Heel, if you prefer a straight heel please let us know in the personalisation box. The sole of the boot is leather and has an anti-slip protection to make these last longer.

✏️Updated Sizing Tips:

These shoes are true to size, and the last is elegant allowing them to be very comfortable. Just choose the width you think suits you best in your usual size.

EXTRA WIDE🦶: If you have wider feet we recommend to go up a size + choose the wide fit.

WIDE🦶 to REGULAR🦶: If you have wide or regular feet, then choose the fit that you think best for you. Alternatively if you have regular feet but plan to wear these with thicker socks or like to have a bit more room then choose the wide fit.

SLIM🦶: our regular last in your usual size is for you.

✏️Our shaft measurements in this size is 22.5 cm around the top of the boot with the laces at their tightest and go up to a maximum of 29cm with laces at the maximum. Please bear in mind this goes up a little as you size up above a EU38.

The standard height of these boots is 17cm high in our size 38.

If you would like your boots to close tightly and have wider ankles and lower calfs; our new wider shaft option can be made to order and measures 25cm around the top of the boot with the laces at their tightest and go up to a maximum of 32cm with laces at the maximum. Please bear in mind this goes up a little as you size up above a EU38.

When in between sizes, always go for the bigger of the two sizes.

These Victorian Walking boots are faithful reproductions of an original pair from the late 1800s, early 1900s. The round toe, Louis curved heal and brogue detail give them a unique look- great for accurate reenactment, costume work or simply for stylishly combining with a modern outfit.

The last is elegant but not too narrow allowing them to be comfortable. The leather and manufacture is of the best quality. They are handmade in Portugal and are constructed with Goodyear welt soles, sewn together with a cork insulation inside.

No plastic involved, they are sustainable and should last a really long time. The vintage look leather will age beautifully.

With good care, these boots could last a lifetime. Goodyear welt soles can be endlessly replaced!
